Coding and AI Classes During School Holidays
Nurturing Future-Ready Learners Through Coding
In today’s digital world, coding is more than a technical skill — it is a way of thinking, solving problems, and creating. Our Coding Courses are designed to equip students from primary to secondary levels with essential coding skills, starting from playful creativity and moving towards real-world applications, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The courses are progressive, age-appropriate, and engaging. Students are guided step by step, from simple visual blocks to full Python coding, with opportunities for advanced learners to explore AI.
Primary School (Block-Based Coding)
Tools: Scratch, Code.org, MakeCode
At the primary level, students are introduced to coding through block-based coding. Using drag-and-drop blocks, they learn fundamental concepts such as sequencing, loops, and conditions, while building fun projects like animations, games, and interactive stories.
Key Benefits
- Develop logical thinking and problem-solving.
- Build confidence by creating visible, working projects.
- Encourage creativity through storytelling and design.
Secondary School (Python Coding)
Tools: Python (Jupiter Notebooks)
At the secondary level, students transition into "text-based coding with Python", one of the world’s most widely used programming languages. They apply coding to solve problems, build practical tools, and understand how software powers the modern world.
Key Benefits
- Strengthen computational and analytical thinking.
- Create projects that connect to real-life applications (e.g., calculators, games, budget trackers).
- Create projects that connect to real-life applications (e.g., calculators, games, budget trackers).
- Learn collaborative coding practices, preparing them for future studies and work.
Advanced Secondary (AI Foundations)
Must already know basic Python
Tools: Python with beginner-friendly AI platforms (Teachable Machine, scikit-learn, TensorFlow Lite)
For motivated learners, we offer an introduction to "Artificial Intelligence (AI)". Students explore how computers can “learn” from data and make predictions, while also understanding the ethical implications of AI in society.
Sample Projects
- Image recognition (e.g., recognising hand-drawn numbers)
- Spotify DJ style playlist creation.
- Building a simple Chatbot.
Key Benefits
- Early exposure to cutting-edge technology.
- Encourages curiosity about the role of AI in daily life.
- Develops critical thinking about responsible and ethical AI use.
Our Teaching Philosophy
- Hands-on Learning: Every child builds projects to showcase their learning.
- Progressive Growth: From simple blocks to professional coding languages.
- Inclusive & Supportive: Both beginners and advanced learners are guided at their own pace.
- Future-Ready Skills: Creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and digital literacy.
Outcome for Parents
By the end of the course, your child will not only understand how coding works but also have the confidence to create, experiment, and innovate — skills that are essential in tomorrow’s world.
Computing to be offered as an elective subject to upper secondary students in S'pore from 2026.
